7 Awesome Gifts for Highly Sensitive People

Wondering what to get that sensitive person in your life?
Are you sensitive and looking to get something nice for yourself this holiday?

Check out this list for my top 7 gifts for sensitives and empaths below!

1. A Himalayan salt lamp. An effective product that works by “cleansing” the air in a room, you can easily grab one at TJ MAXX for under $15 – although I’ve seen larger ones for up to $650. To use, the lamp is simply plugged in a place where the user spends time. He or she doesn’t need to do anything to gain its benefits other than spend time in that room. Price: $15-650. Purchase here.

2. Crystals! From releasing negative or stuck emotions to forming a protective barrier to the energies of other people or hectic environments, crystals can be incredibly helpful for highly sensitive people. Because of their non-assuming and supportive energies, crystals can also be more comforting and nurturing than actual people at times. When it comes to giving a crystal gift, you have a few choices; you can opt for a gift card or the crystal itself. Like anything else, crystals are personal, and what one person likes, another may not. And, because most HSPs and empaths are sensitive enough to feel or “hear” certain crystals calling to them, the gift card is a safe bet as long as you don’t have someone who is highly-indecisive or doesn’t have the time or inclination to order something for themselves.
If, for whatever reason, you’d rather give “the real thing”, you have a host of choices when it comes to HSPs. Here are several of my go-to faves for this group:

Whatever you decide, I highly recommend purchasing from Healing Crystals, an online store dedicated to promoting education and the use of crystals to support healing. Use code HCJP at checkout for 10% off your order today!
3. A journal. Empaths, who are often introverts, need a space to write down their thoughts, feelings, and dreams – and journals are a fantastic place to do just that. You can pick up journals of many sizes, shapes, and colors at specialty paper stores, bookstores, or superstores like Target or Wal-Mart. I’d say the most important things to look for if you’re buying a journal for someone else are size and weight – try not to pick something that’s too heavy or bulky – and personal meaning – look for something that has meaning to the individual. Personally, I love Rifle Paper Company’s journals. They are flexible enough to fit in a purse or backpack and they are lightweight. I love the woodland and botanical patterns especially. Price: $15+ Amazon.com.
4. Guided meditations. This particular gift can be the thing that makes or breaks a highly sensitive person’s day. Why? Because meditation is the key to the highly sensitive person staying grounded and centered and hearing his or her guidance ABOVE the chatter of everything else he or she feels, sees or hears. The internet is flush with guided meditations of all kinds; there are free ones on YouTube as well as pricey ones from top spiritual teachers. I have two guided meditations I created with empaths specifically in mind. They are my Cord Cutting Meditation and Calming Lavender Light meditation. Use code SALE20 at checkout for 20% off now. $9.99 each or $7.99 with discount, jaimepfeffer.com/shop.
5. Sage. Known for centuries for its abilities to cleanse and clear negative energies from a room, bundles of white sage are readily available everywhere from Amazon.com to your favorite crystal shop. You can grab some for as low as $5 a bunch. If you decide to buy from Healing Crystals, use code HCJP at checkout for 10% off.
6. Herbal Concepts Neck and Shoulder Wrap. One of the best gifts I’ve ever received is a soft blue neck wrap courtesy of my husband. It is filled with 12 healing herbs and grains and feels amazing when heated-up in the microwave for 2-3 minutes. The calming scent and warm feel it gives have become a necessary part of my daily spiritual routine. I love to use it upon waking after I clear my energy. It helps soften tight muscles and release some of the pressure empaths naturally find thermse3lves bearing. $32. Amazon.com.
7. Noise-canceling headphones. As the most expensive item on my list, these have proven ten-fold to be well worth the price. Originally purchased to block out noise during airplane flights, I now find I use them any time I need space and quiet to hear my own thoughts. I’ve also found that these help me create an energy barrier around me – kind of like a protective shield – to other people’s energetic fields. My go-to’s are the Rose Gold Beats Solos, but there are several other varieties of noise-canceling headphones; some are less expensive, some are more. Beats Solo 3, $240. Amazon.com.
So there you have it! Seven of my top picks for the best gifts for empaths and Highly Sensitive People – all hand-curated by me: an empath on a mission to help other empaths feel comfortable in their own skin!
