How to Clear Negativity from Your Body

Do you ever “pick up” negative energy?

As an empath, or Highly Sensitive Person, I found this video especially helpful because if I’m not careful or prepared, I soak up negative energy like a sponge. That can lead to exhaustion, sudden intense waves of emotion and generally getting thrown off track.

 

Unsure if you’re empathic or a Highly Sensitive Person? Here are a handful of traits empaths often have:

 

-You feel other people’s feelings;


-Too much negativity overwhelms you and is difficult to brush off;


-You avoid crowds;


-You need alone time every day;


-You are comfortable spending extended periods of time alone;


-You are sensitive to swearing, negative media and negative images;


-You control your environment and crave routines.

 

Any of these sound familiar? You’re probably an empath.

 

If they’re not, chances are you know an empath or in a relationship with one. Understanding that empathic traits are not a disease and are actually a gift, goes a long way to understanding emapthic people.
