I have a confession to make: I love clutter clearing.
There’s something about the act of freeing my physical and mental space of extra stuff that gives me a feeling of … lightness, freedom and joy. When I let go of things from my physical and emotional space, it’s like a weight has been lifted off of me.

A friend of mine just shared a simple Feng Shui tip she read on a blog recently and it reminded me of the power of clutter clearing.
The clutter in your physical environment often reflects the clutter in your mind. One trick I give clients who are overwhelmed or stressed is to do clutter clearing. It is an immediate energy-lifter and makes space for the new to come into your life.
Happy Thankful Thursday!!! Gratitude is one of my favorite practices for cultivating happiness, and I always kick it up a notch on Thursdays, largely because I remember it more, thanks (pun intended!) to the awesome combination of the words ‘thankful’ and ‘Thursday’!
Just like our physical environments, clutter can also accumulate in our minds – taking up valuable space and blocking our creativity and joy!
Whether it’s an appointment you need to schedule but haven’t, old limiting thinking and
beliefs, judgments, resentments, self-doubt or insecurities, taking an objective
look at this mental clutter and writing about it is a cathartic and empowering way
to release it!
